Rehabilitation at SMI

At St. Magdalen Institute, the Rehabilitation Section is a sanctuary of hope and transformation for teenage mothers and their babies who have faced profound challenges. It’s a place where young mothers can rebuild their confidence, restore emotional well-being, and rediscover their potential—all while caring for and bonding with their children.

Through personalized counseling, peer support groups, therapeutic activities, and integrated childcare services, we address the mental, emotional, and psychological wounds these young families carry. Our compassionate team helps them heal from trauma, embrace their identities, and chart a path to a brighter future.

Healing at SMI goes beyond survival—it’s about thriving as mothers and individuals. Every broken reed can rise stronger, nurturing themselves and their children while contributing positively to their families and communities.

This is more than rehabilitation; it’s a shared journey of renewal, resilience, and hope for both mother and child.
